In terms of this role, as the first ever dedicated HR role in the business, you will have the opportunity to really “make your mark”. We have been wary of hiring this role too early, as we believe that “the real HR Manager in our business should always be the front-line manager actually running the team”. This role is more about being a coach, teacher, influencer to help develop and grow our people, and in particular our current and future leaders & managers. Plus putting in place and managing the systems to make everything to do with HR as enjoyable, productive and effective as possible (ie using systems to deliver great scalable and manageable outcomes).
